Defense in Ahmaud Arbery trial insist he was a threat because he was armed 'with his fists even if he had no weapon': Black militia rally outside courthouse with warning sign 'Ya'll are in serious trouble'
The man accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery had 'reasonable suspicion' to believe that he was a 'threat' and was 'armed with his fists,' the defense argued in closing statements shortly after the prosecution stated that he was 'killed because he was a black man running down the street'. On Monday, both the prosecution and defense issued their closings in the trial for the three men (insets) accused of murdering Ahmaud Arbery (left inset). Prosecutor Linda Dunikoski told the jury during closing statements that Arbery was defenseless when he was fatally shot (right). She said he had 'no weapons' on him: 'Everybody in this case had a gun except for Ahmaud Arbery'. Dunikoski also said that the three men 'they made their decision to attack Arbery in their driveways, because he was a black man running down the street'. Later, Travis McMichael's defense attorney, Jason Sheffield (top left), said his client had 'reasonable and probable grounds of suspicion' to follow Arbery in his truck. McMichael believed that Arbery was a burglar because he believed he was a burglar. He added that although Arbery was not armed with a weapon, he was armed with his fists. Meanwhile, as the jury was presented with closing statements, more than 100 armed New Black Panther Party activists protested outside the courthouse.

Grandmother, 63, and granddaughter, six, are kicked out of Georgia hotel in the middle of night BY POLICE after she gave it a 3 out of 5 star review on Hotels.com
A woman says she was kicked out of a Georgia hotel by police in the middle of the night after she left a bad review on Hotels.com, forcing her and her granddaughter to walk to an nearby hotel in their pajamas. Susan Leger, 63, was on the first of her three-night stay at the Baymont Inn & Suites in the mountain town of Helen, Georgia when she got a call from the hotel manager telling her she had to leave. 'My granddaughter's like clinging to my leg and crying so hard. This was scary. This was just horrifying,' Legere told Atlanta station WXIA . Police then showed up to remove her and her 6-year-old grandchild, writing in a report that management wanted her out because she 'had given the hotel a bad review.' In 911 audio, hotel manager Danny Vyas explicitly references Leger's online review as the reason why he wanted her out. He told a dispatcher: 'Yeah, we are getting ready to refund because they have reviewed that the room is dirty and the place is rundown. 'I told them, ma'am, we are going to refund your money because I know that you didn't like the room and you have reviewed us. So we have all the right that you can leave the place and we are going to refund in full.'
KYLE RITTENHOUSE ACQUITTAL
'It's sickening...people using me for a cause!' Kyle Rittenhouse blasts both the left AND right for using shooting to promote their views: Tucker Carlson speaks to DailyMail.com hours before interview airs and shares clip
Kyle Rittenhouse, 18, sat down with Fox News host Tucker Carlson after being cleared of homicide and more in the shooting deaths of two men. In footage shared exclusively with DailyMail.com, Rittenhouse slammed commentators on both the left and right as 'sickening' for polarizing Americans. 'How polarized it became is absolutely sickening, like, right or left, people using me for a cause that should never have been used as a cause,' he says. His unanimous acquittal prompted accusations from the left that a 'racist' two-tier justice system favors white defendants. Conservatives have lauded Rittenhouse for protecting his community. Carlson spoke to DailyMail.com hours before his exclusive interview airs Monday night on Tucker Carlson Tonight. 'I don't think he sees himself as a poster boy for anything. In fact, he emphatically doesn't. And that's part of the tragedy of it,' Carlson said.
Father and 16-year-old daughter duo carry AR-15s march alongside anti-Rittenhouse protesters in Kenosha as dozens carry posters decrying 'the whole system is guilty' after teen's acquittal
Crowds took to the streets yesterday outside Kenosha County Courthouse to protest against the decision to acquit Rittenhouse (inset) after he killed two men and injured a third last August - arguing he did so in self-defense. And in response to the verdict, angry demonstrators, some visibly armed with guns took to the streets to express their fury. Joining the crowds were Erick Jordan, 50, and his daughter Jade, 16, (both pictured left) who said they were patrolling the demonstration, of around 75 people (top and bottom right), with weapons to protect the protestors. Erick said he and his daughter had been invited to join the demonstration by organisers.
PIERS MORGAN: Kyle Rittenhouse is a wannabee Rambo fool but the reckless efforts by President Biden, Colin Kaepernick and other liberal shills to make it about race - even after the trial proved otherwise - were just as dumb and dangerous.
MORGAN: Rittenhouse's deadly antics were not the only incredibly dangerous and dumb actions perpetrated in this depressing saga. President Joe Biden, then a presidential candidate, instantly branded Rittenhouse a 'white supremacist' in the aftermath of the August 2020 shootings, and even used his photo in a tweet to do so. The Kenosha shootings shone an ugly spotlight on many of America's biggest problems from toxic tribal political tensions to crazy gun laws. But they weren't about race. And shame on all those who sought to make the American public think otherwise.
The new normal? Bay Area is hit by THIRD consecutive day of looting as 50-strong hammer gang storms jewelry store after Macy's and Lululemon stores were hit: Thieves take advantage of woke 'misdemeanor' law
The San Francisco Bay Area faced a third consecutive day of brazen shoplifting on Sunday when a jewelry store in Hayward was raided by a group of about 40 to 50 hooded teenagers, while others stole an unknown amount of merchandise from a Lululemon store in San Jose. The Hayward thieves, who have not yet been identified, were seen using hammers to shatter the glass cases at Sam's Jewelers at the Southland Mall before running off with their items. Witnesses say they ran into other stores as well and walked out with clothes and shoes. It comes just one day after a group of 80 brazen shoplifters entered a Nordstrom in nearby Walnut Creek, and two days after a Luis Vuitton store in San Francisco's Union Square was ransacked by a group of more than a dozen thieves. Residents and business owners in the are cite a 2014 law that downgraded the theft of property less than $950 in value from a felony charge to a misdemeanor for the rise in thefts, and blame woke District Attorney Chesa Boudin for a rise in crime.

SLAUGHTER AT WAUKESHA CHRISTMAS PARADE
WHY was Darrell Brooks even on the streets? Waukesha parade 'killer' with 22-year rap sheet was bailed twice this year alone and had bond lowered from $7,000 to just $500 in February
Milwaukee's District Attorney faces furious questions about why alleged Waukesha parade killer Darrell Brooks (inset) was out on the streets after it emerged he'd been bailed over claims he'd run over his girlfriend just three weeks earlier. John Chisolm (at left) released a statement Monday admitting Brooks should not have been released on a $7,500 bail earlier this month. But Chisolm, 58, has previously boasted of letting a nonprofit opposed to cash bail audit his office, and has spoken repeatedly about trying to reduce his country's prison population. He has done so despite murders in the area spiking by 95 per cent between 2019 and 2020, with 2021 on course to see as many homicides as last year. Boasting a lengthy rap sheet dating back to 1999 with more than 15 arrests in the state of Wisconsin alone, career criminal Brooks, 39 - who is also a registered sex offender - benefited from the DA's lenient policies.

Fans call for LeBron James to be suspended after he elbowed Pistons center Isaiah Stewart in the face and sparked 20-man on-court brawl: 'He did it on purpose and ran off like a baby'
For the first time in his 19 years as a professional, LeBron James is facing a possible suspension - that is, if the NBA is willing to sideline its biggest star ahead of a nationally televised game in New York on Tuesday. James was ejected from the Los Angeles Lakers' win in Detroit on Sunday after bludgeoning Pistons center Isaiah Stewart's face with his fist and elbow while jockeying for rebounding position in the third quarter. The bloodied Stewart was also tossed after making several attempts to retaliate against James, who was protected by throngs of security guards and teammates as a potential melee was averted. Fans and pundits did not hesitate to call for James's suspension, which would be his first since his senior year of high school in 2003, when he improperly accepted two replica jerseys valued at $845 in violation of Ohio state amateur rules. 'LeBron needs to be suspended minimum 5 games if we're being honest,' one fan tweeted. FS1 host Chris Broussard disagreed, arguing that Stewart should get a two-game ban, while James should only be fined: 'I can see why someone would say the elbow was intentional, but LeBron, in 19 years, has never been viewed as a dirty player.' NBA league officials will now review footage of the incident and conduct follow-up interviews to determine whether fines or suspensions are in order. A league spokesman told DailyMail.com that a ruling on the matter will be completed before the Lakers and Pistons play their following games on Tuesday night in New York and Detroit, respectively. By suspending James, the NBA could significantly hurt television ratings for its coast-to-coast Lakers-Knicks broadcast on TNT. Based on similar incidents, James likely wouldn't get more than a two- or three-game ban if he does get suspended.

When Jill realized she 'was confident on her own,' she called Erik after 18 months and they rekindled their romance. They discussed how it will be 'different' this time and she is now enjoying a 'realistic' fairytale after Erik proposed for a second time.

Biden addressed a crowd from a New Hampshire bridge on Tuesday speaking about his bipartisan infrastructure plan that was recently signed. As he spoke about the importance of infrastructure, the president shared an embellished anecdote about the time he suffered a small house fire in 2004. Photos of his Delaware property shortly after the fire, show it to be entirely intact, from the outside. 'Without this bridge, as I said earlier, it's a 10-mile detour just to get to the other side,' he told the crowd. 'And I know, having had a house burn down with my wife in it - she got out safely, God willing - that having a significant portion of it burn, I can tell: 10 minutes makes a hell of a difference.'
CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
Germans will be 'vaccinated, cured or dead' in a few months, health minister warns as country mulls compulsory jabs and Austria wakes up to life in lockdown amid Europe's Covid crisis
Germany's health minister warned that by the end of winter, Germans will be 'vaccinated, cured or dead' as he urged more citizens to get jabbed to protect themselves against the Delta variant (left: people queue for vaccines in Frankfurt). The dire warning comes as Germany is racing to contain a record rise in coronavirus infections (bottom left), with the country reporting 49,206 cases on Sunday - the highest number of new coronavirus cases since the beginning of the pandemic. It comes as Austrians woke up on Monday morning to a nationwide lockdown with shops, restaurants and festive markets shut (right) amid a fourth wave of the pandemic which is crippling the country's hospitals and tripling the death rate (top right: Austria's cases graph). The government's decision to return to the strict restrictions and make Covid vaccinations mandatory for everyone from February next year sparked fierce backlash, with tens of thousands taking to the streets of Vienna at the weekend to protest against the measures. Europe has become the epicentre of the pandemic once again, with the World Health Organisation warning that the Continent was the only region in the world where deaths had increased as Covid-related fatalities spiked by five per cent just last week. In Germany (bottom right: Christmas markets dismantled), where infections have skyrocketed to a record 49,206 infections, politicians and health ministers are debating whether to follow Austria's example in making vaccinations compulsory, with some admitting that the move is 'unavoidable' amid a rise in infections. Anger is mounting across Europe over the anti-Covid measures, with violent protests erupting in Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Northern Ireland and Italy over the weekend. Last night saw 35,000 people descend on the Belgian capital Brussels to protest against new measures banning the unvaccinated from entering restaurants and bars.
